WARNING: This tool was primarily designed for importing assets using the Office Depot REX environment. Using this tool outside of this environment can be done but is NOT recommended.
**Using the files located in the shared drive: Technical Services\Customer Files\Office Depot\Tools**
The purpose of this tool is to make it easier to set up a .csv file to use for importing (in bulk) the asset's model, serial number, location and status. This is done by simply providing the tool the asset's ID (serial number). Once provided, the tool will automatically pull the most up-to-date information from the REX database. Based on the current status of the serial, excel will then take the values and transform it to accommodate what is needed to save the file as .csv extension. This will then allow the user to download the excel file as a .csv and push the .csv into the Office Depot REX environment; adding/changing the assets within REX to the new values generated from the tool.
This tool contains five different excel sheets:
"Awaiting Evaluation" - Changes the values to match the appropriate awaiting evaluation statuses.
"In Repair" - Changes the values to match the appropriate repair statuses.
"Spare Pool" - Changes the values to match the appropriate spare pool statuses.
"Off Contract" - Changes the values to match the appropriate off contract statuses.
"Manual Import" - Allows the user manually input all desired values/statuses.
