**Process use files found on shared drive at Technical Services\Customer Files\White Cap\MC94**
Login to Zero Touch reseller portal. Link must be opened in "Incognito" mode.

Select the "Devices" option
Select + Add device on top right
Select White Cap | 1815920394 in customer name
Select Serial Number
Type the following in each field:
Manufacturer: zebra technologies
Model: mc9400
Serial numbers: **The serial number**
Copy paste or scan the Serial Numbers to register (separate each serial with a new line, space, colon, or comma)
Select Add > # device added will appear > select Done
Proceed to the "Zero Touch Customer Configuration Assignment" section
Login to Zero Touch configuration portal. Link must be opened in "Incognito" mode.

Select White Cap in the top left dropdown
Select devices
Enter serial number in search field
Select the "Edit" dropdown located to the far right of the serial number
From the dropdown menu, choose the appropriate configuration option. The configuration profile must match the location that initiated the RMA.
Open the White Cap REX portal and navigate to the specific RMA.
Identify the location name listed in the "Location" field at the top of the page.
Return to the Zero-Touch portal and select the configuration profile with the matching name (e.g., if the location is "777 - Waxahachie", choose the "Waxahachie" profile).
Select "Save" once complete
You can now begin Device setup, and staging the device.
Proceed to the "Load Approved OS" section.
First, verify if the device has the correct OEM build installed.
Enter recovery mode by pressing and holding the trigger while pressing the power button. Continue holding until the recovery screen appears.
Check if the current build version is 14-15-22.00-UG-U92-STD-NEM-04.
If the build is correct, reboot the device and proceed directly to the "Staging" section
If the build is incorrect, reboot the device and proceed to the next step below.
From the "Hi There" welcome screen, scan the 14-15-22.00-UG-U92-STD-NEM-04 StageNow barcode. This action connects the device to Wi-Fi and begins the streaming OS downgrade.
The device will download the OS, begin the installation, and restart automatically once the process is complete.
Troubleshooting: In the event the device does not return to the "Hi There" screen after restarting, perform a factory reset by scanning the Factory_Reset_A14.pdf barcode below using StageNow.
Proceed to the "Staging" section
Follow these steps to configure the device and enroll it into MobiControl.
On the "Hi There!" screen, tap Start and connect the device to the SST Guest Access Wi-Fi network.
When the "This device belongs to your organization" screen appears, select Next.
Wait for the "Getting ready for work setup..." process to complete.
On the "Let's set up your work device" screen, select Accept & continue.
When you see the "This device isn't private" message, select Next.
Scroll to the bottom of the Google Services page and tap Accept.
The device will now begin the automatic enrollment process.
When MobiControl launches, it will begin enrollment. If the process seems to stall, select RETRY.
Tap to acknowledge the Google Play Account prompt from the agent. MobiControl will then begin staging.
When the "Agent Pending Actions" screen appears, enable the following permissions:
Write Settings: Tap the setting, then toggle the switch ON for "Allow modifying system settings." Press the back button once.
Notification Access: Tap the setting, select SOTI MobiControl, and toggle the switch ON for "Allow notification access." Select Allow in the pop-up window. Press the back button twice.
Allow the device a few moments to finish applying all MobiControl configurations.
The device will eventually push the lockdown screen.
Staging is complete. Proceed to the RMA Fulfillment Process

Select the group where the device was enrolled. This will be the same as the configuration selected within Zero Touch.
Search for each device by serial. Select the device and check for the correct OEM build - 14-15-22.00-UG-U92-STD-NEM-04
Select Configurations and ensure all profiles are installed and reinstall any profiles or packages that did not fully install correctly.

Go into admin mode on the device from MobiControl.
Go to Settings >> Apps & notifications >> Advanced >> Special app access >> Modify system settings and ensure SOTI MobiControl is set to allowed. Allow if not.
Go to Settings >> Apps & notifications >> Advanced >> Special app access >> Notification settings and ensure SOTI MobiControl is set to allowed. Allow if not.
Go to Network & internet >> Wi-Fi >> Saved networks and ensure WC-RF is saved.
From MobiControl, enter User Mode on the device.
QA is complete.
