Unbox device

Lift the notched corner of the battery cover and carefully lift the battery cover off the device.

On the 8.4 in. version, push the two locking tabs up, then pull up on the tab to remove battery.

Insert the microSD card with contacts facing down; 8.4 in. version shown here.

Push the microSD card in and ensure that it locks into place.

Replace the batter and cover

At this point, OS load and staging can commence.

Once completed remove the cover and battery to uninstall the microSD card.

Tap 8 times on the Hi there screen > Camera will open

Scan the QR code for enrollment with camera

This device belongs to your organization will appear > Select next

Getting ready for work setup... will appear for up to 30 seconds

Let's set up your work device will appear > Select Accept & continue

This device isn't private will appear > Select Next

Scroll up on Google Services > Select Accept

MobiControl will come up and begin enrollment > Select RETRY if needed

Tap Google Play Account acknowledgement from the agent

MobiControl will begin staging

On computer: open browser > click link to go to MobiControl and login

Confirm search group is set to All Devices > In search box type Hardware Serial Number ENDS WITH type last 6 digits 

• Scroll up to see the device name listed on the lockdown for example DC-TC52-20245524201057

Click on the matching device name > select RENAME button (top right pencil icon) 

Add the site prefix for the site the device is for. Prefix's below per site:

• Tampa = TAMPADC-TC52-serialNumber

• Chester= CHESTDC-TC52-serialNumber

• Plainfield = PLAINFIELDDC-TC52-serialNumber

Select RENAME > press the refresh icon with the red dot > Device name will show updated in web console

Select ESC X on right corner to close the device details

On left under DEVICE GROUPS > search for site name > results will appear and below is each group name that will be used

• Tampa = \\AutoPlusAP\AP DC\NA\USA\EST\Florida\18068 TAMPA

• Chester = \\AutoPlusAP\AP DC\NA\USA\EST\New York\18076 CHESTER

• Plainfield = \\AutoPlusAP\AP DC\NA\USA\EST\Indiana\18077 Plainfield

Click and hold on the device icon to drag it into the group folder for the site referenced above > Select MOVE 

Press the refresh icon with red dot > Path value will update to the device group it was moved to 

On the device the AUTO PLUS DC lockdown appears > Press and Hold the triangle BACK button

Select Administrator > type in xineohp for password > Select OK

Press circle HOME

Swipe up > select Settings app

Select Network & internet > select Wi-Fi > scroll up select Saved Networks > confirm AP NETWORK NAME is listed > press BACK three times

• TAMPA / AUSTELL / AVON SSID = EWMRF 

• PLAINFIELD / CHESTER  SSID = AutoPlusDC

Select Apps & notifications > Select Advanced > select Special app access

Select Modify system settings > Select MobiControl > switch toggle ON > press back twice

Select Notification access > switch toggle ON for MobiControl > select ALLOW > press circle Home

Swipe up > open MobiControl agent app

Press and hold back button > select User Mode

Tap each app to open and circle to go back to Lockdown home

• Velocity > confirm SAP Prod profile listed > press circle Home

• Camera > press OK > press circle Home

• Settings > select CONTINUE > select OK > press circle Home

• Flashlight > Tap for ON > confirm light is on > tap again to turn off

On device lockdown > scroll up and confirm device rename appears

Power down device > remove battery > remove access door for microSD card > remove microSD card > replace access door. 

Logout SOTI once completed with updating device names

Login to Auto Plus SOTI One

• autoplusap.identity.soti.net

Access MobiControl

Select site group for the order

Search for staged device serials from work order

Confirm Device Details

• OEM Version = 10-16-10.00-QG-U138-STD-HEL-04 

Confirm Configuratuons

• PROD Zebra ET51 - AP DC - SAP - Velocity Config   = Installed

• PROD Zebra TC52 - ET51 AP DC Core Apps install  = Installed

• WiFi - EWMRF / Wifi - AutoPlusDC = Installed

• Zebra TC52 - ET51 Lockdown AP DC = Installed
