Important: When an RMA is opened for Sonny’s, check the location that the RMA was opened for. The Location is important when providing the staging profile for the replacement device.

Login to Zero Touch reseller portal

Select the "Devices" option
Select + Add device on top right
Select Sonny's Direct | 1397389805 in customer name
Select the "Serial number" option
Type the following in each field:
Manufacturer: zebra technologies
Model: mc93
Serial numbers: **The serial number**
Proceed to the "Zero Touch Customer Configuration Assignment" section
Find the appropriate configuration name for the device you are staging. The configuration name will be based on the site. If unsure of the site, check the RMA entry in REX. The site will be listed as "Location". Site and Configuration Name chart below. Once the configuration name is identified, follow the steps below to assign the configuration name to the enrolled device.
Login to Zero Touch configuration portal
Email: zt.admin@sstid.com

Select Sonny's Direct in the top left dropdown
Select devices
Enter serial number in search field
Select the "Edit" dropdown located to the far right of the serial number
From the dropdown menu, choose the configuration name that was identified earlier.
Select "Save" once complete

Power on Device
On "Hi There" screen:
Scan the "10-16-10.00-QG-U00" barcode from the designated profile (found below).
Allow the StageNow application to launch.
Downloading of the OS base package will begin.
After the download completes, the device will attempt to downgrade the device.
To check the update status, pull down the notification panel from the top of the screen and you will see "Zebra System Services OS Update is working now 1%...". This can take up to 5 minutes
The device will display "OS Update is Completed Device will be rebooting in 15 seconds" when complete.
Once the process is complete, the device will reboot, finalize the OS update, and factory reset, returning you to the "Hi There" screen.
On "Hi There" screen:
Scan the "10-16-10.00-QG-U106" barcode from the designated profile (found below).
Allow the StageNow application to launch.
Scan all remaining profile barcodes.
Downloading of the OS base package will begin.
After the download completes, the device will attempt to upgrade the device.
To check the update status, pull down the notification panel from the top of the screen and you will see "Zebra System Services OS Update is working now 1%...". This can take up to 5 minutes
The device will display "OS Update is Completed Device will be rebooting in 15 seconds" when complete.
Once the process is complete, the device will reboot, finalize the OS update and reboot the device back to the home screen.
Open the StageNow application and scan the "Factory Reset" barcode.
Once the process is complete, the device will factory reset, returning you to the "Hi There" screen.
Proceed to the "Staging" section

Power on the device. At the "Hi There" screen, select Start.
Connect the device to the SST Guest Access Wi-Fi network.
The device will automatically check for updates. Note: This process may take a few minutes.
Proceed through the initial Android setup screens by selecting Next or Accept & Continue as prompted.
On the Google Services page, scroll to the bottom and select Accept.
The home screen will appear, and the SOTI MobiControl app will launch automatically to begin enrollment.
If a Google Account creation notification appears, tap to acknowledge it.
Once the device is enrolled, it will enter a lockdown mode.
From the lockdown screen, press and hold the square Back button to open the MobiControl menu.
Select Administrator.
Scan the appropriate Administrator password barcode for the device's configuration.
Note: Choose the correct barcode (carwash or sonnys) based on the site or device requirements.
Press the circular Home button, swipe up, and open Settings.
Navigate to Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Select Saved Networks and confirm the production network SEIwh is listed. Navigate back to the main Settings screen.
Navigate to Apps & Notifications > Advanced > Special app access.
Select Modify system settings, find MobiControl, and turn its toggle switch On. Press Back twice.
Select Notification Access, turn the toggle switch On for MobiControl, and select ALLOW.
Press the Home button. Swipe up and open the Play Store.
Confirm the Microsoft Remote Desktop app is installed (if not, press Install).
Press the Home button. Swipe up and open the MobiControl app.
Select the Profiles tab and verify all profiles show a status of Installed.
Press and hold the Back button to open the MobiControl menu and select User Mode.
The Remote Desktop app will launch. Swipe up if needed and select Accept.
In the top-right corner, select the + (plus) icon, then choose Add PC.
In the PC NAME field, scan the IP address barcode for the target PC.
Select SAVE in the top-right corner.
Press the Home button to return to the main lockdown screen.
Power down the unit. The staging process is complete.

Staging is complete. please go back to the RMA Fulfillment SOP and continue the fulfillment process.
Power on device
Remote Desktop will start up > Confirm 10.53.19.12 listed as PC > Press circle Home
Press and hold back button > Select Administrator > scan password barcode: carwash OR sonnys
Select Home circle > swipe up > open Settings
Select Network & Internet > WiFi
Scroll down > Select Saved Networks
Confirm WiFi name SEIwh is listed > press back 3 times
Select Apps & Notifications > Advanced > Special app access
Select Modify system Settings > MobiControl > Confirm toggle on > press back twice
Select Notification Access > Confirm toggle on for MobiControl > press Home circle
Swipe up > Open Play Store
Select Remote Desktop > Confirm installed > Press Home circle
Swipe up > Open MobiControl app
Select Profiles > Confirm all show Installed
Press and hold the back button > Select User Mode
Power down unit and confirm screws were replaced on keypad and latches
