*** The device obtained should've been pulled from the spare pool. If so, this device should already be at a state where staging can begin. STILL CHECK THE FOLLOWING: OS Version = 2-32-04.00-OG-U20. The device boots to a blue "HI There" screen. ***
Login to Zero Touch reseller portal (https://enterprise.google.com/android/zero-touch/resellers/1036920028/devices). Link must be opened in "Incognito" mode.

Select "Devices" option on the left and in the search bar scan or type the serial number.
If the search results do not show the serial number, select the "Devices" option on the left again and continue following the next steps.
If the search results does show the serial number, skip this section and continue to the "Prep Device for OS Load" section
Select + Add device on top right
Select Office Depot - Retail | 1521265367 in customer name
Select Wi-Fi only
Type the following in each field:
Manufacturer: zebra technologies
Model: tc51
Serial numbers: **The serial number**
Once complete, select the "Add" button.
The device is now registered. Proceed to the "Prep Device for OS Load" section.
Install Micro SDCard
Follow the illustration below. Office Depot requires a Micro SDCard to be inserted into the TC51.
While holding the top button on the left side of the device (PTT Button), begin holding down the power button until you see the Zebra logo on the screen
Releasing the buttons, wait for the android recovery screen to appear
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select, choose either “apply upgrade from SD card” or "apply downgrade from SD"
Next, select “TC51/”
Select the file "ATLAS_OG_FACT_RESET.zip"
Once finished, the device will say “Install from SD card complete” below. Select “Reboot System Now”
Allow the device to reach the "Hi There" screen.
Proceed to the "Device Check" section
Check for both hardware and software issues before continuing. Check the following:
Power On/Off: Ensure the device can power on and off normally.
Charge Test: Put the device in a cradle to confirm it charges properly.
Screen Condition: Check for cracks, dead pixels, or touch responsiveness issues.
Buttons: Ensure all buttons (power, volume, etc.) are functional.
Ports: Inspect the charging port, headphone jack, and any other external connectors for damage.
Device Housing: Look for any physical damage to the casing that might indicate a fall or water damage.
Wi-Fi: Test the device’s ability to connect to Wi-Fi.
Barcode Scanning: Test the barcode scanner with various barcode types.
Once the device check is complete, be sure to get the device back to the "Hi There" screen.
Turn off the device and Proceed to the "Load Approved OS" section
While holding the top button on the left side of the device (PTT Button), begin holding down the power button until you see the Zebra logo on the screen

While on the recovery screen, pay close attention to the OS version the device is on. This can be located at the top of the screen (below the yellow text "Zebra/TC51").
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select, choose either “apply upgrade from SD card” or “apply downgrade from SD card” *** The OS version the device is on will determine what option to choose . Example below ***
If the device is above 02-32-04.00-OG-U20-STD, select “apply downgrade from SD card”
If the device is below 02-32-04.00-OG-U20-STD, select “apply upgrade from SD card”
Next, select “TC51/”
If the device is above 02-32-04.00-OG-U20-STD, select “FPU_ATLAS_02-32-04.00-OG-U00-STD.zip” and the device will begin downgrading its OS.
If the device is below 02-32-04.00-OG-U20-STD, select “FPU_ATLAS_02-32-04.00-OG-U00-STD.zip” and the device will begin upgrading its OS.
Once finished, the device will say “Install from SD card complete” below. Select “Reboot System Now”
Allow the device to reach the "Hi There" screen.
Reboot the device back to the recovery screen.
Using the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select, choose “apply upgrade from SD card”.
Next, select “TC51/”
Select ATLAS_DELTA_UPDATE_02-32-04.00-OG-U20-STD.zip and the device will begin upgrading its OS.
Once finished, the device will say “Install from SD card complete” below. Select “Reboot System Now”
Wait until the device gets to the "HI There" screen. Then reboot the device into the recovery screen.
Check the top of the screen (below the yellow text "Zebra/TC51") to confirm that the OS version is now 2-32-04.00-OG-U20
Remove the SD card from the device.
Staging is now complete, please go back to the Retail RMA Fulfillment SOP and continue the fulfillment process.
