Zero Touch Enrollment

Sonny's Direct Staging requires Zero Touch registration. Confirm site location for RMA/New Order

The Location is important when providing the staging profile for the new or replacement device.
Log into Zero Touch using the following login information below:
- User name: zt.admin@sstid.com
- Password: Mdm4Life!
Select Devices on the left side for New Order / For RMA replacement skip to step 10
Select + Add device on top right corner
Enter customer name and select Sonny's Direct | 1397389805
Select Wi-Fi only
Select zebra technologies for Manufacture and mc93 for Model
Copy paste or scan the serials to register (separate each serial with a new line, space, colon, or comma)
Select Add > # device added will appear > select Done
At the top of the screen select the highlighted words “the old portal” to access Sonny’s devices and configurations.
In the far-left corner, select the drop-down that is indicated by the blue arrow
Search for Sonny’s Direct and select
Configurations page will load
Select Devices on far left
Under Search for devices > Enter the serial number > Select serial from Choose an identity drop-down > Select Search
Update the Configuration drop-down to the site configuration
- For new orders > the serials will have STAGING-SOTI as default
  1. if the devices are for spare pool do not change
- Switch the configuration to the site location.
  1. For example, we have the site location SCWS-MA-Middletown. The Company Name for this site is SCWS-Middletown, indicated on the configuration page. Select MDT-Staging.
- You will then be prompted to update this device. Select Update.
You can now begin OS load and staging the device.

Installing SD Card

1. Power off the device.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Using a Torx T8 screwdriver with a large grip, remove the two keypad latch screws from inside the battery slot.

4. Slide the keypad latches toward the bottom of the device.

5. Turn the device over so that the keypad is visible.

6. Using a Torx T8 screwdriver, remove the two keypad assembly screws from the top of the keypad.

7. Lift the keypad from the device.

8. Slide the microSD card holder to the Open position.

9. Lift the microSD card holder.

10. Insert the microSD card into the card holder door

ensuring that the card slides into the holding tabs on each side of the door

11. Close the microSD card holder door and slide the door to the Lock position.

12. Align the keypad along the bottom ridge of the device, and then lay it flat.

a. Remove Keypad

a. Open microSD Card Holder

b. Lift microSD Card Holder

c. Insert microSD Card into Holder

d. Replace Keypad

13. At this point OS Load can begin and staging can be processed. Set aside all screws in a plastic bin.

14. Insert the battery and Follow steps below for the OS Load

15. After completion, remove the keypad.

16. Slide the card holder to the right to release and remove the microSD card

17. Replace the keypad

18. Using a Torx T8 screwdriver with a large grip and a long shaft, secure the keypad to the device using the two screws.

19. Turn the device over so that the keypad latches are visible.

20. Slide both the keypad latches toward the top of the device.

21. Using a Torx T8 screwdriver, replace the two keypad latch screws inside the battery slot

Insert battery until it clicks into place
Press and hold the gun trigger and power key
Release keys after Zebra logo appears
Using the arrow keys > move highlight to Apply downgrade from SD Card > press Enter
Select the HE_FULL_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U00-STD-HEL-04.zip package > Press Enter
After process is completed > Select Reboot system now
On the Hi There screen > Press and hold the power key > Select Restart
Press and hold the gun trigger
Release trigger Zebra logo appears
Using the arrow keys > move highlight to Apply upgrade from SD Card
Select the HE_DELTA_UPDATE_10-16-10.00-QG-U106-STD-HEL-04.zip package
After process is completed > Select Reboot system now

Staging

On Hi There screen > Select Start
Connect to WiFi tap SST Guest Access
Checking for updates... This may take a few minutes
This device belongs to your organization > Select Next
Getting ready for work setup
Let’s set up your work device > Select Accept & Continue
Keep your work at your fingertips
This device isn’t private > Select Next
Google Services > Scroll down and select Accept
The home screen will appear and SOTI MobiControl will come to the foreground automatically and begin enrolling.
Tap to acknowledge Google Account creation
Swipe up from home and open MobiControl
Once the device has a lockdown > press and hold back button > Select Administrator > scan password barcode: carwash OR sonnys
Select Home circle > swipe up > open Settings
Select Network & Internet > WiFi
Scroll down > Select Saved Networks
Confirm WiFi name SEIwh is listed > press back 3 times
Select Apps & Notifications > Advanced > Special app access
Select Modify system Settings > MobiControl > switch toggle on > press back twice
Select Notification Access > switch toggle on for MobiControl > press ALLOW > press Home circle
Swipe up > Open Play Store
Select Remote Desktop > Confirm installed (if not press Install) > Press Home circle
Swipe up > Open MobiControl app
Select Profiles > Confirm all show Installed
Press and hold the back button > Select User Mode
Remote Desktop will start up > Swipe up > select Accept
Select the + add icon on top right corner > Select Add PC
Scan in IP barcode in PC NAME field > Press SAVE top right corner
Press circle home
Power down unit
Follow steps 15-21 from above Installing SD card instructions to remove the microSD card and screw back keypad

Power on device
Remote Desktop will start up > Confirm 10.53.19.12 listed as PC > Press circle Home
Press and hold back button > Select Administrator > scan password barcode: carwash OR sonnys
Select Home circle > swipe up > open Settings
Select Network & Internet > WiFi
Scroll down > Select Saved Networks
Confirm WiFi name SEIwh is listed > press back 3 times
Select Apps & Notifications > Advanced > Special app access
