Installing the EZ Dock Mount (Part Number 185-01109)
This guide will help you install the EZ Dock Mount onto your tablet. Please refer to the picture provided for visual guidance.
Prepare the EZ Dock
Before attaching to the tablet, locate the USB-C connector coming from the EZ Dock Mount.
Gently unroll the USB-C connector from the mount.
Push the USB-C connector into the guiding grooves on the inside of the EZ Dock Mount (reference the "EZ Dock (Inside)" picture.
Important: The USB-C connector should be positioned on the shorter side of the EZ Dock Mount (shown in "EZ Dock (Outside)" picture).
Locate the Notch on the Tablet
Turn your tablet around so you're looking at the back.
At the bottom, in the middle, you'll see a small slot. This is the notch (circled in red in the "EZ Dock (Full Install)" picture) where the mount will attach.
Align the Mount
Look at the EZ Dock Mount. You'll notice the circular opening on the mount is slightly off-center.
Position the mount so that the shorter distance between the circular opening and the edge of the mount is facing the same direction as the scanner on your tablet (the larger circle on the left in the "EZ Dock (Full Install)" picture).
Important: The EZ Dock Mount should be positioned above the notch, with the bottom edge of the mount's circular opening aligned with the top edge of the notch. Make sure it's centered.
Attach the Mount
Remove the adhesive strips from the back of the EZ dock carefully
Gently press the mount onto the tablet until it is firmly in place.
Connect the USB-C Cable
Now that the mount is secure, find the USB-Type C port on your tablet.
Insert the USB-C connector (which you prepped earlier) into the USB-C port on your tablet.
Remove the side screws from the EZ Dock Mount (the two small circles located at the top and bottom in the "EZ Dock (Outside)" picture)
Installation is complete. The result should look like the "EZ Dock (Full Install)" picture
EZ Dock (Inside)
EZ Dock (Outside)
