Proceed to the "SD Card Load" section
Ensure your SD card is pre-loaded with the "NE_FULL_UPDATE_13-24-08.00-TG-U00-H27-NEM-04.zip" and the "osupdate.upl" file. If the SD card does not contain this specific file, either leave the SD card empty and follow the instructions in the "Load Approved OS - StageNow Method" section when prompted to throughout this SOP or download the file located at the top of this SOP and transfer it to the SD card. The files are also located in this link.
Install Micro SD Card
Follow the illustration below.
Proceed to the "Installing The Screen Protector" section
Clean the Screen:
Wipe the device's screen well with the alcohol wipe. Go in one direction.
Get the edges and corners extra clean.
Dry and Dust Off:
Dry the screen completely with the special cloth. No streaks or wet spots!
Look closely for any dust.
Use the dust sticker to pick up every last speck. (This is super important!)
Get the Protector Ready:
Peel off a little bit of the backing from the sticky side of the new screen protector (look for a "Step 1" tab).
Don't touch the sticky part with your fingers!
Line It Up Carefully:
Hold the screen protector by its sides.
Carefully line up the edge of the protector with the edge of the device's screen. Make sure it's straight and even. Match any holes for the camera.
Stick It On:
When it looks right, slowly lower the protector onto the screen.
If it's crooked, lift it carefully right away and try again.
Keep peeling the backing off as you smooth the protector down from one end to the other.
Push Out Bubbles:
Once it's on, use the smoothing card (or a credit card wrapped in the cloth) to push out any air bubbles.
Start in the middle and push towards the edges.
If a bubble is stuck, you can gently lift the nearest edge of the protector and push the bubble out as you put it back down.
Tiny bubbles might go away by themselves in a day or two.
Important: Please be sure to remove all air gaps
Proceed to the "Installing The Exoskeleton" section
Install the Exoskeleton
Follow the video below.
Proceed to the "Asset Tag Application" section
Apply asset tags to the front and back of the TC53E. Please ensure the screen protector is installed before you attach the front asset tag!
