Once devices are received, begin scanning into the work order the serial number, IMEI 1, IMEI 2, and if applicable the 5G SIM ICCID numbers. (This can be added after the Office Depot Cellular Activation Request below) This information will be provided to Office Depot for activation.
Access the appropriate work order
Scan in each ID in the Roll Out Details Tab
Login to Zero Touch Admin Chrome Profile
Select Zero-Touch Reseller bookmark
Select Device on left
Select + Add device on top right
Select Office Depot - Supply Chain | 1298487371 in customer name
Select Cellular
Paste in IMEI 1 and select Add (default configuration will be assigned)
Activation requests will be for Verizon and/or AT&T. To confirm login to OD SOTI MobiControl to confirm
For example: The 1090 - Plymouth site will order 14 - TC58s.
In SOTI, search the device group for Plymouth and search for Device name contains TRANS.
There will be a total of 16 devices (this is because the site has spare units)
Sort by the device name to show in sequential order (device name 1-16).
The Cellular carrier verification will be the first 14: 13 AT&T and 1 Verizon
Update the OD Project Device Info Template.xlsx withe Sales Order Number, Location Name, Serial Number, Verizon ESIM IMEI #2 (for the qty of Verizon - 1 in this example), AT&T Physical IMEI #1 (for the qty of AT&T - 13 in this example) and AT&T 5G SIM ICCID (13 physical SIM IDs in this example)
Update the Work Order details with the AT&T SIM ICCIDs assigned to the serials from the template request.
Attach this template to the email example below to Ed Chang and CC remaining emails.
Complete the body of the email and send.
Ed Chang will update remaining information such as device name and send completed list to Alma
Alma will send email to confirm activation completion.
Office Depot requires Micro SDCards to be added to the TC58. These can be retrieved by the REX team to pull from inventory. Request 1 for each device. Files to be copied:

Factory Reset Package (File Name: AT_U_FactoryReset.zip)
Turn on unit and scan the StageNow barcode
A11 Barcode - A14-14.35.10-U40-Upgrade
A13+ Barcode - A14-14.35.10-U40-Upgrade-JS
StageNow will connect to WiFI and begin OS Upgrade
Unit will restart
If needed, Factory Reset device to go back to Hi There!
On Hi There screen, select Start
Accept prompts for Zero Touch Enrollment
Login to OD SOTI MobiControl
Navigate to the SST group and search Model = TC58. New enrolled units will appear online
Select each device and confirm:
Device Details Tab - OEM Version = 14-35-10.00-UG-U40-STD-ATH-04
Configuration Tab - All Profiles status = Installed
Units can be powered off
Continue to Phase 2 Staging once naming is provided by ED.
Login to OD SOTI
Select the SST Group and search Model = TC58. New enrolled units will appear online
Select each device, send action Rename, name the first device {4 digit site #}-WHSE- 00001-AE, and select Rename.
Name each device in incremental order {4 digit site #}-WHSE- 00001-AE, {4 digit site #}-WHSE- 00002-AE. etc
Search Device Name Starts With (4 digit site number)
Bulk select all STAGED units
Send Action Reset Passcode
Set as 4 digit Passcode
Confirm lock is set on each device
Continue to Phase 3 Staging once Activation confirmation provided by Alma
Unlock device
On lockdown press and hold back button
Scan admin password
FOR AT&T - Activation will begin on the back ground. Confirm Mobile signal bars are appearing then continue to step 13
FOR VERIZON ACTIVATION Navigate to Settings
Network and Internet > Mobile Data > Add Network by Scanning QR Code
Open MobiControl Agent
Turn WiFi Off
In SOTI send script > Legacy > User Mode (DATA confirmed)
Call phone number (Voice Confirmed)
Turn Wifi back ON
Lock device set aside for QA
LOCKDOWN ADMIN PASSWORD VERIZON CELLULAR ACTIVATION CODE
Follow the steps per device QA
Login into Office Depot SOTI and select SST group > Perform search Device Name Starts With (4 digit site #)-TRANS, example Device Name starts with 5101-TRANS
Open new window, and select home group > Perform search Device Name Starts With (4 digit site #)-TRANS, example Device Name starts with 5101-TRANS
Power on a unit > Confirm PIN lock - swipe and enter 4 digit site number
Locate unit in SST
In Home Group, select the TC56 with the same name and rename it by dropping the -AE (if not already done)
Drag and drop the replacement unit into Home Group
Confirm Check-In
Select Configurations and confirm all profiles are installed
Remote Control into device if remote > Send script to Enter Admin Mode
Navigate on device to Settings > Network and Internet > WiFi > Saved Networks > confirm 2 networks are saved: WIFI_SC_BSD and WIFI_SC_BSD$
If missing, navigate to Configurations in SOTI Device Details
Revoke Profile: US-OD WIFI - AE Work Managed_WorkManaged
Check-In unit
Install Profile: US-OD WIFI - AE Work Managed_WorkManaged
Confirm Installed and check saved networks to confirm
Open DataWedge and confirm all 10 profiles ending in Korber are available
If missing, navigate to Configurations in SOTI Device Details
Revoke Profile: A11 - Datawedge Configuration v4 - AE Work Managed
Check-In unit
Install Profile: A11 - Datawedge Configuration v4 - AE Work Managed
Confirm Installed and check Datawedge app profiles
Open Google Play and confirm all apps are Installed
If not installed, select app and press Install
Send script to Enter User Mode and if applicable close Remote Control
Power down unit.
