**Process uses files found on shared drive at Technical Services\Customer Files\Disney\DCL - Disney Cruise Lines\Staging and Kitting Services\TC53E**
Tablet (Tools Needed)
Important: While the items listed above are typically required for work orders related to this model, there may be exceptions. Please review the "Work Details" section in the work order excel sheet (Section 2) for the specific Work Order to confirm the necessary items.
Perform a power up inspection of the devices. Verify that the device loads to setup screen and touch screen is working.
Power off the device and remove the battery.
Asset tag the device.
Use the "TC53E/58E Asset Location" file. This will show where to put the asset tag.
Record the serial numbers and corresponding asset tag numbers in the work order.
Use the "Device Capture Example" file. This will show you what the results should look like in the work order.
Install the exoskeleton and strap for the device.
Use the "TC53/TC58 Exoskeleton Installation" video below. This will walk through how to install the case and strap.
6. Enroll the device using Google Zero-Touch Enrollment.
If needed, use the "TC53E/58E ZeroTouch Enrollment Template" file. This will help setup the enrollment for the devices.
Use the "TC53E/58E ZeroTouch Enrollment Guide" file. This will guide you through the enrollment process.
When physical preparation is complete. The results should look like the picture below.

If the device is on Android version LOWER THAN 13-24-08.00-TG-U00-H27-NEM-04, Use the staging barcode below
If the device is on Android version HIGHER THAN 13-24-08.00-TG-U00-H27-NEM-04, Use the staging barcode below
If the device is on Android version LOWER THAN 13-23-07.00-TG-U00, Use the upgrade staging barcode below
If the device is on Android version HIGHER THAN 13-23-07.00-TG-U00, Use the downgrade staging barcode below
After the reboot, select the blue Start button on the “Hi There” welcome screen.
Connect to appropriate Staging Network (Ex: SST Guest Access / SSTStaging)
The device will reach out to Google and transition between multiple pages.
Select Next on This device belongs to your organization page.
Select Accept & continue on the Let’s set up your device page. Note: Following steps may not always occur in the order listed.
Click Next on This device isn’t private page.
If the device transitions to Disney's Terms and Conditions page, Click ACCEPT.
The device will progress through several AirWatch and Google configuration screens as it proceeds through setup.
Google Services screen: Leave all settings turned ON, scroll to the bottom of the page and click ACCEPT.
Click GO TO SETTINGS button when prompted to enable All File Access for Hub
On All File Access page, enable “Allow access to manage all files”.
Click BACK to return to setup.
The device will boot into the OS and begin to remove apps from the home screen.
Allow the device to sit at the OS screen for 2 minutes to allow the removal of apps.
Hold power button and power off unit.
Staging is complete.
Staging as of 12/12/24 (Allison) - If the Hub is installed and most of the apps are hidden like Chrome, that’s all we need. You can shut it off and pack it.
