Work Order Prep
Open the Work Order and select the "Roll Out Details" tab.
For Column J, capture the device serial number.
For Column N, scan ICCID located on the SIM Card. Be sure to match each device serial with their SIM cards.
For Column L, capture the first IMEI number found on the device box.
Here's an example of what the capture should look like for the work order:

Once all information is filled out in the Work Order, send an email to compass. See below for details on what to include in the email:

Here's an example of what the capture should look like for the work order:
Once email is sent, continue to the "Zero Touch Device Preregistration" section.
Zero Touch Device Preregistration
Log into Zero Touch: Https://partner.android.com/ and download spreadsheet under the Strategic Systems Tab. Click on Download Example CSV.
Copy all IMEIs from Work Order. Paste all IMEI’s under the modemid column. See below for example on how to fill out CSV.
In Zero Touch, locate the Customer ID (compass group customer ID (1011649664) in Device Search Tab. This Customer ID is placed in the Profile ID section. Once all information on spreadsheet is filled out, file must be saved as CSV.
Tap on Device Upload. Upload CSV into Zero Touch. You will see the document loading.
If successful, you will see a message like the one below. If not, be sure to check spreadsheet to ensure all information is filled out correctly.
An email will also be sent in to confirm the successful load of all devices. Please see example below. If successful, it will appear as such.
Zero Touch Customer Configuration Preregistration
Log in to the Zero Touch Customer Portal. *** Use "Incognito Mode" when accessing the Customer Portal ***
Search for the "Compass Group" account by selecting the existing account (under the Zero Touch name displayed in the navigation bar to the left.
Once selected, another UI will be displayed w/ the option to either search for the desired account by typing it out or by just simply scrolling through the entries. Use this to find "Compass Group"
Select the "Devices" option in the navigation bar to the left.
Select the vertical triple dot symbol located to the right of the text "Devices (Total: xxxx)".
A small UI w/ three options should appear. Select "Upload batch configurations".
Click on Download Example CSV and save the file.
6. Copy all IMEIs from the Work Order. Paste all IMEI’s under the modemid column. Fill in the rest of the values using the example below.
Profile ID: 985749389 (Configuration Name: CANT-FS-IN)
7. Once the CSV file is filled out, save the edited file.
8. Go back to the Zero Touch Customer Portal and select the "Upload batch configurations" option again.
9. Select the blue "Upload" button.
File Explorer will appear. Select the edited CSV file that was saved earlier.
If successful, you will see a message like the one below. If not, be sure to check spreadsheet to ensure all information is filled out correctly.
An email will also be sent to confirm the successful load of all devices.
Load the Approved OS
With the ET45 powered off, press and hold the power button and press and hold the "volume up" button. Once the device boots, let go of the power button and continue holding the "volume up" button until the the recovery screen appears.
Check the third yellow line for the OS that the unit is running. The device needs to be on Android OS 11-38-25.00-RG-U00-STD-GSE-04.
If the device is not on Android 11-38-25.00-RG-U00-STD-GSE-04, continue through the rest of the steps. If the device is on Android OS 11-38-25.00-RG-U00-STD-GSE-04, skip this section and continue to the "Install the SIM Card" section.
Take note of the Android version to determine if you need to process a Downgrade or Upgrade
Using the volume keys to navigate the list, highlight “Reboot System Now” and press the power button once to select.
Device will restart and launch the Hi There! screen.
Scan the appropriate OS Load barcode below
Device will restart and launch the Hi There! screen.
After restart if the device is not on Hi There! screen, open StageNow and scan MX8.1_FactoryRest.pdf barcode below to perform factory reset
Repeat the first step Step 1 to go to Android Recovery to double check that the ET45 is now on OS 11-38-25.00-RG-U00-STD-GSE-04 .
Power off the device.

Install the tablet's exoskeleton following the instructions below:
Compass's Green Support Label
Once the tablet's exoskeleton is installed, grab one green support label (provided by Compass) and place it on the back of the tablet's battery cover.
Place the label in the center.

Download the "Zebra_ET45_Enrollment.pptx" file and the "Adding APN to Zebra tablet 3" file.

Print the "Zebra_ET45_Enrollment.pptx" file and the "Adding APN to Zebra tablet 3" file.
Print this file in black and white.
Staple the printed contents together.
ET45 Staging is complete.
QA Instructions:
Is the Green Sticker centered on the back of the tablet?
Is the Tablet Case installed?
Is the tablet on OS version 11-38-25.00-RG-U00-STD-GSE-04?
Was the SIM activation (along w/ the IMEI, PO number and serial number) email sent to Compass (Solution Engineers are cc'd on those emails)?
Was Compass's "Zebra_ET45_Enrollment.pptx" file and the "Adding APN to Zebra tablet 3" file printed out, stapled and placed in the same box as the devices?
Is the device(s) enrolled in Zero Touch?
