Summary: The RFID Spot truck project consists of Fixed RFID readers & ET Tablets. The RFID readers are mounted on trucks and track trailers throughout the yard. The tablet runs their application and draws data from our Yard tracking RFID use case, but does not run our software on tablet. The RFID Readers will be configured and tested with cellular, including activation of SIMs via contact with Capstone prior to shipping. The ET Tablets will be enrolled in SOTI and also tested with cellular, including activation prior to shipping.
*Notes:Â ET85 only for use in high temperature sites (IE: Amarillo) where the ET65 will be used in standard deployments going forward to allow them to use android where possible.

This procedure details how to create a bootable USB drive with the approved OS image and use it to re-image a tablet.
Important Prerequisites
USB Drive: Use a USB stick that is 32GB or larger.
File System: The USB drive must be formatted as FAT32. The tablet's BIOS will not recognize other formats like NTFS or exFAT for booting.
Format the USB Drive:
Insert the USB stick into a Windows PC.
Open File Explorer, right-click the USB drive, and select Format....
Set the "File system" to FAT32.
In the "Volume label" field, name the drive BOOTME.
Click Start to format the drive.
Prepare the OS Files:
Download the official OS image .zip file from this link
Extract the entire contents of the .zip file to a folder on your PC.
Copy Files to USB:
Copy all the extracted files and folders from your PC directly onto the root level of the newly formatted BOOTME USB drive. The drive is now ready.
Connect and Power On:
With the tablet powered off, connect the bootable USB drive.
Ensure the AC power adapter is plugged in before you begin.
Power on the tablet.
Enter the BIOS Boot Menu:
As soon as the manufacturer's logo (BIOS splash screen) appears, repeatedly tap the center of the touch screen until you hear an audible beep. This will open the boot menu.
Select the Boot Device:
Use the tablet's Volume Down button to navigate the menu and highlight the USB drive option (BOOTME).
Tap your selection on the screen to confirm.
Run the Installation:
The tablet will restart and begin loading the recovery files. When prompted to begin, select YES.
The installation will now proceed automatically. Do not interrupt the process.
Complete the Process:
Imaging is finished when a message appears prompting you to remove the USB drive.
Once the USB is removed, the tablet will automatically reboot several times and then power down completely.
Begin Windows Setup:
Power the tablet back on. It will now boot into the standard Windows Out of Box Experience (OOBE), ready for the initial setup.
