**Process uses files found on shared drive at Technical Services\Customer Files\Disney\DCL - Disney Cruise Lines\Staging and Kitting Services\ET51CT**
Steps to Setup Zebra ET51CT Tablet Devices for model (ET51CT-G21E-00NA)
NOTE: You’ll need these accessories to complete the process: SG-ET5X-10RCSE4-01 (Case)
Step 1: Preparation
Perform a power up inspection of the devices. Verify that the device loads to setup screen and touch screen is working.
Asset tag the device.
Use the "ET51CT Asset Location" file. This will show where to put the asset tag.
Install the case and expansion back on the device.
Use the "ET51CT Case Install Guide" file. This will walk through how to install the case and the expansion back.
Record the serial numbers and corresponding asset tag numbers in the work order.
Use the "Device Capture Example" file. This will show you what the results should look like in the work order.
Enroll the device using Google Zero-Touch Enrollment.
If needed, use the "ET51 ZeroTouch Enrollment Template" file. This will help setup the enrollment for the devices.
Use the "ET51 ZeroTouch Enrollment Guide" file. This will guide you through the enrollment process.
Step 2: OS load - Android 11 Approved Base Build 11-46-25.00-RG-U00
With the ET51CT powered off, press and release the power button and then press and hold the volume down button. The Fastboot screen will appear after a few seconds.
Press the Volume Up or Volume Down buttons to navigate to "Recovery Mode". Press the power button to select the "Recovery Mode" option.
Once in recovery mode, use the volume keys to navigate through the list and highlight “Apply upgrade from SD card” and press the power button once to select. Then select the “HE_FULL_UPDATE_11-46-25.00-RG-U00-STD-HEL-04.zip” package.
Once the device has been upgraded, select “Power off” from the boot menu.
Repeat the first step Step 1 to go to Android Recovery to double check that the ET51CT is now on OS 11-46-25.00-RG-U00 and then reboot the device.
Step 3: Staging
After the reboot, select the yellow Start button on the “Hi There” welcome screen.
Connect to appropriate Staging Network (Ex: SST Guest Access / SSTStaging)
The device will reach out to Google and transition between multiple pages.
Select Next on This device belongs to your organization page.
Device will transition from the Getting ready for work setup page to Disney's Terms and Conditions page. Click ACCEPT.
Select Accept & continue on the Let’s set up your device page.
Note: Steps may not occur in the order listed.
Click Next on This device isn’t private page.
The device will progress through a number of AirWatch and Google configuration screens as it proceeds through setup.
Install Applications screen: Allow the device to install all applications listed. Button will change from SKIP to Continue after all apps have installed. Select CONTINUE when complete.
Always accessible (HUB) screen: Tap GOT IT if this screen displays.
Google Services screen: Leave all settings turned ON, scroll to the bottom of the page and click ACCEPT.
Click Done on Your device is ready to go! page.
